The idea of your 6-year-old sitting through a yoga class and actually enjoying the experience likely seems absurdly far-fetched, but Zoo Atlanta has created a fun way for both children and adults to enjoy yoga. Their zoo yoga class incorporates animals and their environment to create an enjoyable experience for all. This week's theme for Family Zoo Yoga is Sunrise On The Savanna.

Be sure to secure a team of eight so you can take part in all the fun.

Splash Saturday

With the heat we've been experiencing in Atlanta as of late, it seems that the only place to really cool down is poolside. This Saturday, Wetbar will host Splash Saturday, an “elevated poolside affair.” There will be tunes from a local DJ, as well as Wetbar's signature cocktails.

Where: W Downtown (Wetbar), 45 Ivan Allen Jr. Boulevard

When: Saturday, July 13, at 2 p.m.

Drag Queen Story Hour

Neighborhood: Old Fourth Ward

At Posman Books, story time is quite literally a drag. When: Saturday, July 13, at 2 p.m.

Bastille Day Atlanta

It will be a full-on French fete this Saturday as the Alliance Francaise d'Atlanta celebrates Bastille Day with a cocktail affair. You can snatch up a general admission ticket for as low as $75.
