Two Weeks Of Free Groceries For Atlanta Families In Need
Families can pre-register to receive free groceries thanks to the Atlanta Hawks and State Farm partnering with Goodr.
ATLANTA, GA — Families in need will be able to receive two weeks worth of free groceries Friday at a pop up grocery store. The Atlanta Hawks and State Farm have teamed up with Goodr to assist. They've reached capacity this week, but said families can register for next week, according to organizers.
The week's location will be at the Martin Luther King Jr. Recreation Center and Aquatic Center at 110 Hilliard Street in SE Atlanta. The event will go from 12 p.m. until 3 p.m. Families had to pre-register to attend. The pop-up grocery store will utilize drive/walk-through system to distribute the food.
There will be meat, seafood, produce, snacks and more. Register online.
