ATLANTA, GA – This weekend, embrace the cold weather with a few laps around the ice skating rink at the opening of Skate The Station. If you prefer something a little less adventurous, you can head to Park Tavern for the Uncorked Atlanta Wine Festival — one of the most anticipated wine festivals of the year.

You'll also want to head to the Atlanta Botanical Garden to check out rare and endangered amphibians at the public frog feeding. And last but not least, be sure to close out the weekend with a little discount holiday shopping at The Children’s Place. Here’s what else is happening around the city:

Gamers from across the country will gather at the Georgia World Congress Center this weekend for DreamHack Atlanta. Prepare to game all night as each day will provide 24-hours of access for three-day pass holders. Gamers can expect art, music, cosplay, tabletop, arcade, indies, panels and much more.

Skate The Station

Get ready to lace up your skates and hit the ice because Friday serves as the officially opening of Skate The Station at Atlantic Station. For those eager to break in their skates, Skate The Station offers a Skip The Line Pass, which can be purchased online. Ideally situated at the BB&T Atlanta Open lot, the outdoor ice-skating rink will allow guests to skate under the stars and in the shadows of the city’s skyscrapers.

Princess Brunch: Beauty And The Beast

It will be a tale as old as time at Venkman’s for Saturday’s Princess Brunch: Beauty and the Beast. Venkman’s Princess Brunch series is returning with a classic, so be sure to freshen up on tunes like “Be Our Guest” and “Beauty And The Beast.” And for those kids at heart who are 21 and up, bottomless mimosas will be available.

Frog Feeding

Curious minds will get a kick out of the public frog feeding at the Atlanta Botanical Garden. The feeding, which will be conducted by the conservation team, will give attendees the opportunity to see these rare and endangered amphibians as they quite literally spring into action. A specialist will also be on hand for all your froggy questions.

Uncorked Atlanta Wine Festival

Described as “Atlanta’s premiere wine and craft beer experience,” the Uncorked Atlanta Wine Festival is an event that will be absolutely brimming with wines ready for sampling. With Park Tavern serving as the setting for the Uncorked Atlanta Wine Festival, guests will be met with stunning views of Piedmont Park as they sip an assortment of wines.

Big K.R.I.T. Live

Neighborhood: The Battery

Months after the release of his studio album K.R.I.T. Iz Here, Mississippi rapper Big K.R.I.T. is bringing his tour to Atlanta’s Coca-Cola Roxy Theatre. The all-ages show will also include performances from Rapsody and rapper T.I.'s son, Domani Harris. General admission tickets currently start at $30.
