Unidentified Pedestrian Killed By Train In Bartow County On Sunday Evening

BARTOW COUNTY, Ga. - The Barrow County Sheriff’s Office and CSX are still investigating the death of an unidentified man who was struck by a train on Sunday evening.

Personnel from the Bartow County Emergency Medical Service were responding to a call of a pedestrian struck by a train at Felton Road and the railroad crossing and searching the area when they found a male off to the side with no signs of life.

The Bartow County Coroner was then contacted.

The unidentified man had not been identified yet as of 11 a.m. Monday, said a Bartow County EMS spokesman.
