Veterans Day Parade And Decatur Wine Fest: Atlanta This Weekend
Indulge in an impressive collection of wine at the Decatur Wine Festival or honor veterans at The Georgia Veterans Day Parade.

ATLANTA, GA – If you’re feeling extra hungry (or even thirsty), this is the perfect weekend to head out and about in Atlanta. Seafood-lovers will find themselves in heaven at the inaugural Georgia Seafood Fest, while wine enthusiasts will be met with an assortment of nearly 500 wines at the Decatur Wine Festival.
For those looking to give back, SweetWater Brewery will host the Seconds Please Food Festival, a festival that will benefit Giving Kitchen. Here’s what else is happening around the city:
The Atlanta Pancakes & Booze Art Show

Pancakes and art don’t typically go together, but that’s part of what makes The Atlanta Pancakes & Booze Art Show such a unique event. At this pop-up art event, you can indulge in all-you-can-eat pancakes as you take in art from over 300 local artists.

Those in the music business, as well as fans of music can expect plenty of insight during Red Bull Music Festival’s “A Conversation With Coach K.” Kevin “Coach K” Lee quickly rose to prominence as he helped propel the careers of Migos, City Girls and Lil Yachty. Friday’s conversation will touch on how he got his start in entertainment, the business of hip hop and more.

Georgia Veterans Day Parade And Festival
Neighborhood: Downtown
Presented by the Georgia Veterans Day Association, the Georgia Veterans Day Parade And Festival will honor veterans and will also celebrate the 100 year anniversary of Veterans Day. Those attending the parade are encouraged to stick around for a performance by the 116th Army Band, at Pemberton Place.

Georgia Seafood Fest
Neighborhood: The Battery
The Georgia Coastal seafood scene will be highlighted at the first ever Georgia Seafood Fest. In addition to sampling some of the best offerings from the sea, attendees at the Georgia Seafood Fest “will have the opportunity to learn how important the seafood industry is to all Georgians, sample a wide variety of fresh fish right off the boat cooked in a myriad of styles.” Both general admission ($35) and VIP ($125) tickets will be available, with VIP providing ticket holders with plenty of swag (Georgia Seafood Fest 2019 t-shirt, mug, seat cushion and more).

Decatur Wine Festival

Don’t let the cold weather fool you — wine festival season is still very much alive here in Atlanta. Next up is the Decatur Wine Festival, a wine fete that will take place at the steps of Old Courthouse Square. The festival will feature an impressive 500 wines, so make sure you're thirsty.

Native American Festival And Pow Wow
Neighborhood: Stone Mountain
The largest Native American gathering in Georgia is taking place at Stone Mountain Park this weekend and all are invited to attend. The festivities will include dance and music performances, authentic craft demonstrations, cooking traditions, storytelling, wildlife presentations and much more. One of the highlights will include a Dance and Drum Competition that will take place on Saturday and Sunday.

Seconds Please Food Festival
Neighborhood: Ansley Park
Described as “a chef driven tasting event,” the Seconds Please Food Festival will feature bites from a helping of Atlanta’s top restaurants. Benefitting Giving Kitchen, the event will include samples from Fox Bro's Bar-B-Q, Local 3, Porch Light Latin Kitchen and more. The festival will also serve as the celebration of the release of SweetWater’s Second Helping IPA, which will also benefit Giving Kitchen.
