ATLANTA, GA – With the finale of the Atlanta Science Festival set to take place this weekend, both kids and adults can expect to learn a thing or two during the expo extravaganza in Piedmont Park. Plus, be sure to head to the Michael C. Carlos Museum for more family fun thanks to their Sand Mandala Family Event.
And for those in search of an adults-only affair, check out the High Museum of Art’s Vintners’ Reception And Live Auction, as well as The Bloody Mary Festival.

Whale Shark IPA Launch Party
Neighborhood: West Midtown
The Georgia Aquarium and Atlanta Brewing Company are set to celebrate the release of their latest collaboration this weekend. This time around, the duo has partnered on Whale Shark IPA, a brew that features Calypso and El Dorado hops. For the launch party, Whale Shark IPA will be available on draft, and there will also be giveaways and a food truck on site.

Travis Scott Live

Travis Scott, one of Hip Hop’s biggest entertainers, will soon grace the stage at Atlanta’s State Farm Arena. Scott’s Atlanta show serves as one of several stops on the rapper’s Astroworld - Wish You Were Here Tour. Tickets to the show currently start at $49.95.

Sand Mandala Family Event

As part of Tibet Week at the Michael C. Carlos Museum, guests of the museum will have the opportunity to use Tibetan chak-purs (traditional, Tibetan tools) and colorful sand to create their own sand paintings. The event is free for Michael C. Carlos Museum members and available for non-members to attend for a small fee.

Vintners’ Reception And Live Auction

Presented by the High Museum of Art, the Vintners’ Reception And Live Auction will serve as the finale to a week's worth of events held during Wine Auction Week. For this afternoon fete, attendees will be treated to a reception featuring sips from 100 world-class vintners and bites from a number of Atlanta’s top restaurants.

Atlanta Science Festival’s Exploration Expo

Dubbed “Atlanta’s biggest interactive science event,” the Atlanta Science Festival’s Exploration Expo is a free and family-friendly event that will serve as a science extravaganza. Attendees can expect over 100 hands-on, interactive science booths from local groups, as well as universities and other organizations.

Atlanta International Auto Show

Taking place for the 37th year, the auto show will feature classic cars, exotic cars and much more. Tickets to the auto show are $12 for adults, and are offered at a discount for children.

The Blood Mary Festival

And to celebrate the fans of this savory brunch concoction, there is The Bloody Mary Festival. Taking place at The Fairmont, the traveling festival will feature Bloody Marys, local food and beverage samples, temporary tattoos and more. Tickets to the boozy affair start at $45 for general admission passes.
