ATLANTA, GA — This weekend, honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. while enjoying a keynote address from Stacey Abrams during a Human Rights Prayer Breakfast.

If you’re in a celebratory mood, head over to Pontoon Brewing for their one-year-anniversary or celebrate the grand opening of Just Add Honey's second location at their tea party. Meanwhile, wine lovers can take a trip to City Winery for the Atlanta Winter Wine Festival.

Martin Luther King, Jr. Human Rights Prayer Breakfast

With Martin Luther King, Jr. Day on January 21, the 16th Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Human Rights Prayer Breakfast will be held this weekend. The keynote speaker for the annual event, which pays homage to a Civil Rights great, will be politician and lawyer Stacey Abrams. Tickets to the breakfast start at $65 per person.

Pontoon Brewing Year One Anniversary

Crack open a can of your favorite Pontoon brew as they celebrate their one-year-anniversary this weekend. Friday will serve as Flash Black Friday, as Pontoon brings back a number of past favorites, including Fluffy Otter, Moscow Mule and Double Amp Shandy. You can also expect live music and bites from the C'est Tout Bon 2 Eat food truck.

Super Bowl LIII Recycling Rally

Super Bown LIII is still more than two weeks away, but the buzz in the city is already growing as we near closer to the big game. To celebrate, Zoo Atlanta is helping with the “greening of Super Bowl LIII,” and they’re asking residents to bring in their E-waste to their Recycling Rally to be recycled responsibly. Among the numerous items Zoo Atlanta will be accepting are laptops, televisions, and cameras.

Chop Fest 2019

Neighborhood: The Battery

For fans of the Atlanta Braves, Chop Fest is the ultimate sports extravaganza. Lasting nearly the entire day, Chop Fest is brimming with activities for eager fans. Those attending will have the opportunity to receive player autographs, take part in photo opportunities or get interactive with on-field activities.

Grand Opening ParTEA

Just Add Honey is opening their second location in the Old Fourth Ward and they want you to celebrate the occasion with them. The newest location is located just off of the Eastside Beltline and will likely feature a number of Just Add Honey favorites, including Black Coconut and Chamomile Vanilla Bean tea.

Atlanta Winter Wine Festival

If you’ve ever struggled between choosing a glass of Pinot Noir or Chardonnay, you can guiltlessly choose to sample both at the Atlanta Winter Wine Festival. In addition to well over 50 wines, attendees will also have the opportunity to try a variety of beers and ciders.

Imaging USA

From seasoned veterans to amateur photographers, there’s something for all skills at the longest-running photographic conference in the United States. Attendees at Imaging USA can expect keynote sessions, all-inclusive parties, workshops and plenty more.
