Back to School in Barrow: Bell Schedules

Find out what time classes at high schools, middle and elementary schools start and end.

Make sure your student gets to class on time. Here are the school hours for the 2013-14 school year. 

  • High schools — 7:30 a.m. to 2:35 p.m. 
  • Middle schools — 7:30 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. 
  • Elementary schools — 8:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.
  • Pre-K — 8:20 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. 

Open houses 

Don't forget, before students return to schools on Aug. 7, parents can meet their teachers and get valuable information, including details on transportation. Open houses will be held Aug. 5. Elementary schools will hold open house from 8 to 11 a.m., middle shcools from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and high schools from noon to 2 p.m. Call the school system at 770-867-4527 for questions.
