Deputies Shut Down Drug-Cooking Operation
A joint investigation between the Barrow and Walton sheriff's offices led to an arrest of a Bethlehem man for making crack cocaine.

A joint investigation by the Walton and Barrow sheriff’s offices led to the shutting down of a crack cocaine-cooking operation in Bethlehem this week.
The Barrow County Sheriff’s Office said on Facebook that on Tuesday officers seized drugs, cash and firearms, and arrested Miller Sutton, Jr., 57, the owner of the home.
Investigators found a downstairs room at the house used to “cook” cocaine to produce crack cocaine.

More than four ounces of crack cocaine and three ounces of powder cocaine, with a street value of $7,400, were found. Also seized were two guns (one was stolen) and $24,000 in cash.
Sutton is charged with trafficking in crack cocaine, trafficking in cocaine and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

The arrest came after month-long investigation by the Barrow County Sheriff’s Office Crime Task Force and the Walton County Sheriff’s Office.
