Female Driver Complains of Car Trouble, Claims Alprazolam Pills are Viagra

A driver parked beside the Sunoco station in Winder on July 7 was arrested after claiming pills in her possession were Viagra instead of Alprazolam, the generic version of the controlled substance Xanax.
The pills were found in a bottle labeled for “migraine relief” following a search by a Winder officer.
The driver had initially claimed she was having car trouble before the officer explained she and her passenger had been observed in a church parking lot and were not seen until 45 minutes later at the Sunoco.

The passenger admitted they were on their way to Winder residence when they saw patrol cars parked there and stopped in the church lot, where they opened the hood of the car to feign car trouble.
The driver, Mary Ellen Holland, 45, of 156 Sims St., in Winder was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance and controlled substance not in original container.Find out what's happening in Barrowfor free with the latest updates from Patch.
