James Thomas Brooks, 75, of Winder, died Jan. 6, 2014.
Brooks, a retiree from General Motors and the owner of West Barrow Auction, is survived by his wife, Pat Brooks, five children and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will take place on Friday, Jan. 10, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Carter Funeral Home. Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 9, from 1-3 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
