GDOT Seeks Feedback for Future Projects

An online survey will be available until the end of September.

by Justin Ove

The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) hopes members of the public will participate in an online survey that will help planners determine the state’s pressing transportation problems and ways to fund potential improvements.

GDOT wants feedback not only on trouble spots that cause hand-wringing, gnashing of teeth, and unbearable traffic delays, but is also asking for creative solutions to help pay for the projects that would be necessary to end the asphalt nightmares.

Commissioner Keith Golden told CBS 46 that the goal of the survey is to present state and national legislators with first-hand accounts of transportation difficulties impacting the lives of Georgians. Golden hopes that the process will uncover citizens’ good ideas for transportation improvements.

The survey can be accessed at this link and will be available for residents until Sept. 30.
