"It doesn't look like the same house, does it?" Stacy Halstead asked her husband, Bill Halstead, as they and their son Tripp entered their newly-renovated home.Â
Sunshine on a Ranney Day, a nonprofit organization that creates dream room makeovers for children with long-term illnesses, along with hundreds of invited sponsors and volunteers, revealed its biggest and most extensive home makeover to date at the completely remodeled home Saturday, July 13, in Jefferson, Ga.
Tripp suffers from a critical head injury caused by a falling tree limb in October.
Out of a need to accommodate Tripp’s wheelchair and special needs, the Halsteads sold their Barrow County home and purchased a foreclosed one closer to family members who could provide additional support. However, the home required extensive work to make it accessible and compatible with Tripp’s needs.
The complete makeover includes  $200,000 in accessible home renovations. Watch the home makeover reveal now.Â
