Local School Nutrition Professional Wins Culinary Contest
Haymon Morris Middle School Nutrition Manager Wins Culinary Competition

Charlotte Parks from the Barrow County school nutrition department won 1st place in a state-wide culinary competition. Charlotte's "Fruit Salsa" recipe was the winner in the "Let's Dip" category at the Georgia School Nutrition Association (GSNA) State Culinary Arts Competition.
The competition recognizes exceptional culinary skills of school nutrition professionals who have created recipes that must also follow federal nutrition guidelines for school meals. The recipe categories were "Nutty with Peanuts", "Let's Dip" and "Mash Up Mushrooms".
