Norcross High Assistant Hired as Apalachee Football Coach
Steve Sims is reportedly the new head coach at the Barrow County school.
A Norcross High School assistant football coach has been hired to take over the program at Apalachee High School in Barrow County.
AccessNorthGA.com reported Steve Sims, on the staff when Norcross won back-to-back state titles in 2012 and 2013 will take over a program that went 1-19 over the past two seasons.
Sims replaces Shane Davis, who resigned after the 2014 season after 10 seasons.
