Sheriff's Office Asking for Help Identifying Hit-and-Run Driver Who Killed Pedestrian

Law enforcement is looking for a late '80s to '90s model GM vehicle in connection with the incident.

The Barrow County Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's help in identifying a driver who killed a pedestrian July 13.  

At approximately 9:53 p.m. that night, Deborah Burton was walking in the area of Manning Gin Road and Jeremy Drive toward Ga. Highway 53 when she was struck and killed by a vehicle traveling in the same direction. Law enforcement is looking for a late '80s to '90s model GM vehicle in connection with the incident. 

Anyone with information on the vehicle or driver is asked to call the Barrow County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division at 770-307-3080, ext. 3083.
