Statham Drivers Should Expect Delays This School Year
Find out which roads you should try to avoid and when.
Statham Police Chief Steve Martin says drivers should expect heavy traffic in the area of Statham Elementary School and the new Bear Creek Middle School during the upcoming school year.
Hours during which congestion is expected are 6:30 to 8:30 a.m. and 2:30 to 4:30 p.m.
The following roadways may be heavily impacted, so drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes to avoid potential delays:
- Atlanta Highway
- Bethlehem Road
- Broad Street
- Elizabeth Street
- Jefferson Street
- Providence Road
- Second Street
- Third Street
