Suspected Drunken Driver: 'I Had Two Drinks at Mac Taco'
A deputy found marijuana and vodka in the driver's bag.

A Bethlehem resident who ran her vehicle into a ditch Aug. 4 told a deputy with the Barrow County Sheriff's Office she was coming home from "Mac Taco."
"I presumed she meant Taco Mac restaurant and bar," the deputy wrote in an incident report.
The deputy had responded to the scene of the accident after a witness called 911 to report the driver was intoxicated and appeared to be attempting to flee the scene. Witnesses said the driver was traveling north on Ga. Highway 53 when she suddenly executed a U-turn in the middle of the roadway, running off the road and into the ditch.
When the deputy approached the female driver, she walked past the patrol unit and headed into the lane of travel where a southbound vehicle had to come to a sudden stop to avoid her. The deputy then physically escorted the woman to the patrol vehicle. The driver reportedly told the deputy she was only an hour away from home and asked for help.
After refusing a breath test, the driver was checked for injuries. While medical personnel was attending to the woman, the deputy searched her bag and found a piece of foil rolled up with burnt marijuana in one end, a piece of cellophane with less than 1 ounce of marijuana in it and a 375 milliliter bottle of Skyy vodka that was a third full.Â
Lisa Kay Weaver, 42, of 3710 Wadakonata Trail in Bethlehem was charged with failure to maintain lane, open container, DUI, driving on suspended license and possession of marijuana less than 1 ounce.Â
