WBCT Donates to Adventure Bags

Winder-Barrow Community Theatre was proud to donate over $700 to Adventure Bags after their recent show, “Breath of Spring”. Each show of WBCT gives a portion of the proceeds to a local nonprofit group. The $700 included a donation from the theatre group and money collected from audience members who purchased raffle tickets or made donations themselves.

Adventure Bags is a local nonprofit organization which provides book bags/diaper bags to children and teens in need. The bags are provided to children going into shelters and foster care as well. Each bag includes items such as a toothbrush, toothpaste, hair brush, comb, socks, toys, stuffed animals, diapers, etc. If you would like to find out more about this organization, please see their website at www.adventurebags.org.
