Winder-Barrow Community Theatre Donates to the Barrow County Food Pantry

Donation to the local Food Pantry by WBCT

Winder-Barrow Community Theatre recently finished their third show of the 2016 Main Stage Season. "Hello Dolly" was a hit with the audiences, and a part of the proceeds of the ticket sales was donated to the Barrow County Cooperative Benevolence Ministries for the local Food Pantry. A total of $865.50 was donated with $539.50 donated by WBCT and $326 donated by audience members who made donations during the run of the show. Canned food was also donated by people attending the show.

The Barrow County Food Pantry distributes food monthly through several programs and serves up to 6000 people every year. It takes a lot of money and food to keep this program running, and they are always thankful for any donations.
