Winder-Barrow Community Theatre Upcoming Christmas Plays Announced
Two Christmas Plays coming up in December.
Winder-Barrow Community Theatre is excited to announce two Christmas plays for this holiday season. Mark your calendars and come enjoy the music and laughter as you watch these two shows. Tickets for both of these shows are now on sale at the City of Winder Customer Care Center at 770-867-3106 (prompt one for Event Ticket Sales) or at Pam Veader’s State Farm Insurance office at 41 S. Center Street in Winder (770-867-1679).
2017 Season Tickets are also on sale. Season Tickets make excellent gifts for Christmas so call Pam at 770-867-1679 to arrange for a gift certificate. The Season Ticket includes all four of the Main Stage shows during 2017, and the price can’t be beat. Seniors (55 and older), students and teachers are only $35. Adults are only $45. These tickets are also on sale at both ticket locations.

- “The Grinch Who Stole Christmas” presented by WBCT on December 2,3, & 4. The Friday and Saturday shows start at 7:30 pm, and the Sunday show is at 3:00 pm. Tickets are now on sale for this show, and they are $5.00 for children through age 12. Ages 13 and older are $10 each. This play is suitable for children and adults and has more than 30 children in the cast. After the play, audience members will be invited to stay for refreshments and meet Santa Claus. Part of the proceeds from this show will be donated to the Barrow County Family Connection Christmas store to be used to purchase gifts for needy families in the county.
- “Harmony Baptist Church Ladies Auxiliary Christmas Jubilee” by Laura King on Dec 15-17th at 7:30 pm and Dec 18th at 3:00 pm. Yes, this show will be presented on Thursday night in addition to the regular weekend dates. Laura King is a Georgia author, and this hilarious show will get you prepared for the Christmas holiday. All tickets for this show are $10 each and can be purchased at both ticket locations. All proceeds of this show will be divided between two charities, Food2Kids and Share the Blessings. Food2Kids provides child friendly food to children over the weekends when they might not have enough food to eat. This program provides food for about 250 children in the Barrow County School System. Share the Blessings is a Christmas event that provides a holiday meal along with many other items for needy families in the county.
