Winder Man Charged with Murder, Battery in Woman's Death
Winder Police said Frankie Lee Carter, 59, is charged with killing Delores Holder, 50, of Commerce.
A Winder man has been arrested and charged with felony murder in the death of a woman Friday night, police said.
Frankie Lee Carter, 59, is charged with killing Delores Holder, 50, of Commerce, who was found unconscious and bleeding from the head by officer around 8:15 p.m. Friday in the area of Elm Street near Graham Street in Winder.
Holder was unresponsive when officers found her. She was taken to a local hospital, where she died later, Winder Police said in a news release.

Carter was identified as the suspect and was found early Saturday. He was arrested and charged with aggravated battery, which was upgraded to murder after the woman had passed.
