Winder Man Charged With Murder in Weekend Death
The Barrow Sheriff's Office said Paul Hamilton is charged with the death of Brandon Lay in Winder.
Barrow County deputies have arrested a suspect in a weekend homicide in the Winder area.
The agency said on Facebook Paul Hamilton of Winder has been arrested and charged with killing Brandon Lay, also of Winder.
Hamilton is in the Barrow County Detention Center charged with felony murder, murder and three counts of aggravated assault.

The alleged crime happened Saturday, Oct. 17 at the intersection of Charlie Hall Road and Old Hog Mountain Road.
The sheriff’s office said the incident happened a few hours after Law was caught allegedly stealing items from property owned by Hamilton.
