Woman Who Loved to Cook and Sew Passes Away

Edith Pilar Olivares, 78, of Winder, died Sunday, Jan. 5.

Olivares "had an unconditional love for her family and prayed for them. She also loved to cook, to sew and loved life itself," according to the obituary posted on the Lawson Funeral Home website. 

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Jan. 11, at 3 p.m. in the Lawson Funeral Home chapel. Visitation will take place immediately prior to the service from noon until 3 p.m.
