Surviving a nuclear bomb doesn’t come cheap — particularly when you’re surviving in a sprawling 5-acre private fallout shelter.
Harry Norman Realty in Buckhead is listing the $17.5 million complex in Tift County, according to the company’s website.
The bunker, built in 1969 to withstand a 20 kiloton nuclear attack, is a 5-acre structure sitting 45 feet under 32 acres of land, the listing says.

One floor of the bunker has seven luxury apartments which feature “2 Bdrms-1 Bath/kitchen/dining-area/living room w/ TV, internet with security, modern HVAC system & environmental monitoring sensors,” according to the listing. Another floor has a home theater, a commercial grade kitchen, five staff rooms, conference rooms, and a recreation room.
Renovations on the bunker were completed in 2012, the listing says.
