Atlanta's most expensive rental property looks like a bargain compared to Miami Beach's, at $300K a month.
The nation's rental home market is booming. The national average rent hit a record-breaking $1,181 in March, up 5.7 percent since last year.
But there's expensive ... and then there is eye-wateringly expensive.

If you think shelling out $4,500 a month for a NYC rental is expensive, wait till you see these homes. From California to Georgia, every US state holds its gems, all unique in their own way but with one common feature – hefty price tags.

Topping the “most expensive rentals by state” list at $300,000 a month is a 12,957 square-foot home in Miami Beach --
