ATLANTA, GA -- The Atlanta History Center is busily preparing its new home for the 130-year-old Cyclorama painting, The Battle of Atlanta.
The painting will eventually be moved from Grant Park to the center’s new Whitaker Cyclorama Building, where the giant oil painting will be displayed in its entirety, reports Curbed Atlanta. The building will also house other items from Grant Park, including a fully restored steam locomotive that was part of a railway chase during the Civil War.
