Hundreds of Apartments to be Built Near Lenox Square
A portion of the land slated for Buckhead's failed CityPlace project will be given new life as a residential complex.

AMLI Properties will soon begin construction on over 600 apartment units on a portion of land that was originally meant for the CityPlace development near Lenox Square, Curbed Atlanta reports.
Curbed says permits for the new development were recently approved, and crews are already preparing the site for construction. Once completed, Curbed says the site will house 650 apartment units, 180 of which will be built in a high-rise tower.
The Curbed reports adds that construction will include new roads which will reconnect Lakeside Drive to East Paces Ferry Road and a park.
