Members of a Buckhead development review committee were treated to the first images of a proposed mixed-use development planned for the southeast corner of Peachtree and Pharr Roads on Wednesday.
Plans call for a 22-story, 400-apartment residential tower with 200,000 sq. ft. of retail on the ground floor at the 1.1 acre site across the street from the wildly successful Buckhead Atlanta development. Construction will begin sometime next year, BuckheadView says.

Developers Mill Creek Residential ran into some roadblocks during their Wednesday meeting with Special Purpose Interest district (SPI) 9’s Development Review Committee, which denied several variances the developers sought despite the standardization of code for buildings and streetscapes in the area. Buckhead Atlanta developers OliverMcMillan also had pushback from the committee when it wanted to get variances for its project, BuckheadView says.
It is not know how Mill Creek Residential will proceed in light of these rejections.
