More Apartments Coming to Buckhead

Alliance Residential Co. submitted its building permit application to the City of Atlanta for its five-story apartment complex at at Maple Drive, between Peachtree Road and East Paces Ferry.

What Now Atlanta reports that the Phoenix, AZ-based company plans to build the 250-unit multi-family housing for an estimated $25 million. The complex would be named Broadstone Maple Apartments and would sit on two acres after a small office building is razed, Atlanta Business Chronicle reported.

In other apartment news, workers are making headway on the Circle Terminus project, a $67 million 355-unit apartment development located within the Terminus development at the corner of Peachtree and Piedmont roads. Circle Terminus will consist of three separate buildings which each have three levels of parking topped with five stories of apartments. Lord Aeck & Sargent of Atlanta is the project architect and Crescent Resources LLC is the site's developer.

The first Circle Terminus units are expected to be available in the spring 2014.
