Overhaul of Buckhead Medical Office Building Planned

An aging medical office building in Buckhead is about to get a multi-million dollar renovation at the hands of a local commercial real estate firm.

HealthAmerica Realty Group and Harrison Street Partners are joining forces to carry out the $18 million overhaul of Northwest Medical Center, a 1970s era office building. The space is currently 30 percent occupied, Atlanta Business Chronicle reports, but news of the renovation has sparked discussions with up to 50,000 sq. ft. of tenants. It’s hoped that the center can offer physician groups and specialists affordable office space once the renovations are done.

It’s not clear when work would begin or when the project would be completed.
