Where are Atlanta's Most Expensive Neighborhoods?

Researchers at Point2Homes.com recently compiled a list of Atlanta's most expensive neighborhoods, and they're all concentrated throughout several Buckhead communities.

The data is based on listings that were still active at the end of March 2016.

Neighborhoods were ranked by median home asking price. For calculating the median, the company took into account all homes currently for sale in the area. To ensure accuracy, the company also compared the values to other real estate portals.

Here's is list of the neighborhood rankings and median home asking price:

2. Tuxedo Park, $3,224,750
3. Paces, $2,260,000
4. Mt. Paran Northside, $2,259,500
5. Randall Mill, $1,635,000
6. Brookhaven, $1,599,000
7. Chastain Park, $1,535,000
8. Peachtree Battle Alliance, $1,325,000
9. Margaret Mitchell, $1,012,450
10. Peachtree Park, $830,000

Atlanta's overall median home asking price is $279,450.
