BuckheadView reports that Wood Partners wants to reduce the height of the 1000 Park Avenue from 40 to 27 stories in order to cut down on the amount of new residents and new cars entering the already-congested space. The amended tower would stand 317 ft. tall and have 425 parking spaces, BuckheadView says.
Committee members asked the developers to further shield the parking deck from street view, and would like to see a better connection between the building and the sidewalk. Wood Partners will amend their plan and return to the committee next month.
