NCAA Basketball March Madness is about to get underway, and the Peach State has received two invitations to the Big Dance.
Georgia and Georgia State will continue their standout seasons this week in the NCAA men’s basketball tournament.
Georgia, seeded No. 10 in the East Region, will face seventh-seeded Michigan State (23-11) Friday in Charlotte. The Bulldogs are 21-11.

Georgia State is seeded No. 14 in the West Region, and will play No. 3 seed Baylor in Jacksonville. The Panthers, who beat Georgia Southern Sunday in the Sun Belt final, are 24-9.
The Selection Sunday committee made undefeated Kentucky the No. 1 seed. The Wildcats are the top seed in the Midwest. Other top seeds are Villanova (East), Duke (South) and Wisconsin (West).

First-round play takes place Tuesday and Wednesday, with the NCAA Championship game scheduled for April 6 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
