Apparent Grease Fire Displaces Two Adults from Buford Home
The house fire occurred on King Arthur Court in Buford.

An apparent grease fire displaced two residents from their Buford home Tuesday evening.
When crews arrived to the 2700 block of King Arthur Court there was smoke showing from the single-story home. They entered the home, and were able to extinguish the fire in the kitchen, according to a media release from Capt. Tommy Rutledge.
The two residents were home at the time, and both escaped. Before leaving, officials said the male occupant used a portable extinguisher against the flames. He was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
Officials said the fire appeared accidental and was sparked by a pan of grease on the stove top.
Red Cross was contacted to assist the residents.
