Armed Robber Hits Buford-Area Bank
The suspect held up a note demanding money, then pointed a gun at the teller, police said.

Gwinnett Police released surveillance camera images of a bank robbery suspect who allegedly stole more than $1,500 from BB&T location near Buford.
The armed robbery was reported around 2:45 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 29, at the BB&T Bank at 3400 Buford Drive.

The male approached the front counter and held up a note to the teller. The note informed the teller that this was a robbery and he had a gun. The suspect presented a black revolver in his right hand and pointed it directly at the teller.
Police believe the man left the scene in a white four-door car, possibly a Hyundai.

- White Male 50-55years old
- 200lbs-220lbs
- Gray hair
- Black ball cap with Starter emblem
- Navy blue windbreaker
- Dark pants
- Thick framed brown or black glasses
