Gwinnett Residents Thwart Attempted Crime Spree: Police
A man was jailed on suspicion of trying (and failing) to steal two cars and breaking into a home where an armed man was waiting, police say.

BUFORD, GA — Quick thinking saved three people in Buford from becoming victims in a Monday crime spree.
The spree began just before 5 a.m. on Monday when Lamont Dickerson, 26, approached a man sitting in his car and ordered him to get out, Gwinnett County police allege. The man hit the gas and drove away safely.
Shortly after, the suspect opened the passenger door of a woman's car and ordered her to get out, according to the release. The woman refused, and Dickerson fled before officers arrived, police said.
