Kerley Family Homes Celebrates 10th Anniversary

Kerley Family Homes is pleased to celebrate its tenth anniversary as a home builder in the Atlanta metro area. Gene and Joe Kerley, co-owners and CEOs, have built a record 1,700 homes during this decade of business, while also building a business that is truly family-centered.

“The growth we’ve seen in just 10 short years is incredible, and I’m honored to be at the helm of this company,” said Gene Kerley. “We have an amazing team of people that work here, and we have formed strong partnerships with a number of contractors and vendors. Together, we’ve been successful beyond my wildest imagination.”

Since 2007, the Kerley family and their team of dedicated agents, representatives and contractors have worked to make each home well-built and each family of buyers satisfied. In 2007, the first year in business, Kerley Family Homes closed just one home. At the time, the builder’s office was located in a model home that had unfinished floors, and the bare-bones staff was crammed into a small space.

The business grew steadily, from 14 home sales in 2008, to having already sold 128 homes through April 2017. Kerley Family Homes is now located in a sprawling office in Marietta, and continues to grow with the recent addition of its own in-house realty company, KFH Realty.

Gene Kerley says that the vision in creating Kerley Family Homes was to work with his family for other families. He believes that a home is the center for memories and happiness, and seeks to supply that for Atlanta. After spending some years in business on his own, his son Joe was ready to join forces with his father.

“Working with dad has been rewarding and exciting,” said Joe Kerley. “It’s an incredible experience to work side-by-side with family while knowing we’re creating a place for other families to grow and thrive.”
