Man Breaks Into Mini Cooper Dealership Using Propane Tank: Police

A man was caught on camera breaking into a Mini Cooper dealership using a propane tank, police said. Can you identify him?

BUFORD, GA – The Gwinnett County Police Department Criminal Investigations Section needs the public’s help in identifying the man responsible for a recent burglary.

On Friday, Jan. 18, at around 10 p.m., a man broke a glass door to the Mini Cooper Dealership at 3751 Buford Drive in Buford, using a propane tank, according to police. After he goes inside, he is seen on surveillance looking through the employee area. Though he ultimately left with nothing, he still caused significant damage to the business, police said.

The man appears to have a bald head and wears all black. A crowbar is seen under his clothing. He was seen leaving the area in a silver 4-door passenger car, possibly a Mercedes, police reported.
