Operation Homefront Gives Wounded Warrior Buford Home

A Georgia military family has a new home in Buford, thanks to Operation Homefront.

The organization presented Army Sgt. Mike Vanscoy and his family with the four-bedroom home on this week, the Gwinnett Daily Post reported.

Operation Homefront, United Rentals and Wells Fargo teamed up for the special giveaway. The mortgage-free home -- along with four others -- was as part of the Homes on the Homefront program.

Operation Homefront provides emergency financial and other assistance to military men and women, and their families.
