Primrose School of Buford students are ready to celebrate the 4th of July holiday in true patriotic spirit. Friday afternoon, the students paraded down the hall and out to our flagpole in all of their red, white and blue! They were also decked out with flags, lanterns and fireworks that they have been making all week. Parents, teachers and children all recited our Pledge of Allegiance, and we were treated to our Younger Explorer class singing, "America the Beautiful!"
The annual Red, White and Blue Celebration at Primrose School of Buford gives students the opportunity to celebrate the birth of our nation while learning the meaning of citizenship and patriotism.
By engaging in hands-on activities and reading related books with their teachers, students learn about teamwork, cooperation and following rules as“citizens” of the school and classroom. These important lessons in citizenship are part of the Primrose Schools Balanced Learning® approach, which blends purposeful play with nurturing guidance from teachers to encourage curiosity, creativity, confidence and compassion.
