Sister of UGA Assistant Found Dead in Ala. Double Homicide
She and a man were shot to death in a Blount County home, according to authorities.

The sister of University of Georgia assistant football coach Kevin Sherrer was reportedly shot to death during a double homicide this week in Alabama.
The Blount County Sheriff’s Office said Rasha Breann Sherrer, 36, and Gary “Sambo” Hezerig, 43, were found dead Tuesday afternoon in a Locust Fork, Ala., residence. Both had been shot, the sheriff’s office said.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution confirmed that Rasha Sherrer is the sister of Kevin Sherrer, a defensive assistant at Georgia.

AL.com reported investigators did not immediately know the motive behind the crimes.
The website reported Hazelrig was the son of former Blount County school superintendent Joe Mack Hazelrig.
