Turn Trash to Treasure at Earth Day Community Yard Sale

The event will raise money for the White Oak Elementary outdoor classroom and garden.

The third annual "Trash to Treasure Community Yard Sale and Earth Day Celebration" will take place on April 20, 2013 from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. at White Oak Elementary School, located at 6442 Suwanee Dam Road in Sugar Hill.

The event is being held to raise money for the White Oak Elementary outdoor classroom and garden.  The proceeds will be used to install a rain irrigation system to ensure a successful harvest and to teach students about healthy eating and environmental stewardship. 

Atlanta Recycling Solutions will be at the sale to collect unwanted electronics and sponsor Jim Ellis Chevrolet will have the Volt on site as well as some of their other eco-friendly cars.
