Ultimate Away Game: Buford High to Play in Ireland in 2016

The 11-time state football champions are among several teams expected to play as part of the Aer Lingus College Football Classic in Dublin.

It’s one thing for a high school football team to cross several counties to play an away game.

It’s quite another thing to cross the Atlantic Ocean.

The Buford High Wolves, one of Georgia’s top programs, will do just that in the 2016 season when they play in Dublin, Ireland, as part of the Aer Lingus College Football Classic, which pits Georgia Tech against Boston College on Sept. 3.
