Unwrap Holiday Magic With Festive Events At Mall Of Georgia
From photos with Santa to the tree lighting and blood drives, the Mall of Georgia has holiday activities for all.

BUFORD, GA — Mall of Georgia will celebrate the season with holiday activities for all!
Atlanta-area Simon centers are celebrating the most wonderful time of the year with a variety of seasonal activities for families and shoppers to enjoy. Throughout November and December, Lenox Square, Mall of Georgia, North Georgia Premium Outlets, Phipps Plaza and Town Center at Cobb are making spirits bright with Santa arrival celebrations, specialty photos, tree lightings, holiday blood drives and more!

Families can gather in Von Maur Court to capture the spirit of the holidays in a photo with Santa – perfect for holiday cards to send to friends and family! ’s>Pet Photos with Santa: November 18 from 6-8 p.m. and December 9 from 8-10 p.m.Looking for the paw-fect holiday photo? Guests are invited to bring their four-legged friends to visit Santa’s workshop and take a photo with the jolly man in red! Shoppers are asked to use the Savvii Formal Wear entrance, as well as refrain from bringing reptiles or exotic animals.

Caring Santa:
December 2 from 8-10:30 a.m.
Caring Santa is a private event designed for children and young adults with special needs and their families to have an opportunity to have their photos taken with Santa. Mall of Georgia has made necessary adjustments to the environment to support the sensory, physical and other developmental needs of children of all abilities for this special event. The event will be held during private mall hours in the Von Maur Court in order to provide a calmer, sensory-friendly environment. Due to this, families are asked to enter the mall using the Main Mall Entrance in between Belk and Von Maur. Guests can register in advance at simon.com/caringsanta.
Tree Lighting:
November 17 at 3 p.m.
Mall of Georgia will make spirits bright starting at 3 p.m. in The Village for a special welcome to Santa Claus! Guests will be entertained with faux ice skating at The Rink, holiday-themed performances from a DJ, live entertainment by The Throwback Experience, the annual 50-foot Christmas tree lighting, visits from Santa and Papa Elf, a special Movie Under the Stars presentation of “The Santa Clause,” holiday activities and more! Attendees are welcome to bring chairs and blankets. Plan to come early, grab a seat, sip a cocktail and enjoy as Mall of Georgia welcomes the season with open (and warm) arms!
Red Cross Blood Drives:
November 23 – 25 from noon – 5 p.m.; December 26 – 28 from noon – 5 p.m.
Mall of Georgia invites shoppers to celebrate the season of giving by donating blood! Trained Red Cross staff will collect donations from noon-5 p.m. in the Upper Level near Dick’s Sporting Goods. Visit redcrossblood.org to schedule an appointment in advance, and enter code ‘moga’ for Mall of Georgia.
The Salvation Army Angel Tree Program:
November 23 – December 8
Mall of Georgia will host The Salvation Army for the annual Angel Tree program, which provides new clothing and toys for children of families in need. This year’s Angel Tree will be located on the lower level near Gap. Representatives will be available Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Breakfast with Santa:
December 1 from 8:30-10 a.m.
Children and families can enjoy a scrumptious breakfast, holiday activities and a story time with Santa and Papa Elf in the Dining Pavilion! This event is free for Family at Mall of Georgia members, and a recommended donation to Simon Youth Foundation of $5 for each adult is requested. Guests can sign up for Family at Mall of Georgia at the event or at Guest Services. RSVP is required and can be sent to mmr4852@simon.com. The deadline to RSVP is November 26.
Sounds of the Season:
December 5 and 6 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Local community, church and school groups will put on festive holiday performances in the Dining Pavilion for shoppers to get in the spirit of the season.

December 7-24
