If you love waffles (and hash browns, too), Waffle House will roll out the white tablecloth for you and your date on Valentine's Day.

Here’s an idea that’s sure make a Valentine’s Day date one to remember.

How about a night out at Waffle House?

No kidding, says the Norcross, Ga.-based restaurant chain, which offers a special experience for lovers — especially those who love waffles and hash browns.

“Let’s face it,” the company said in a press release. “Bouquets of roses and snooty restaurants are trite at best.”

So, for the eighth straight year, the Southern breakfast heavyweight is offering special Valentine’s Day seating at 140 of its 1,700 restaurants, including several in metro Atlanta.

With it, you get to eat your hash browns “smothered and covered” on a white tablecloth, with a lit candle and a tailored menu.

Reservations are requested (for real) at the participating locations, including the restaurant at 3310 Hamilton Mill Road (Call 678-546-8588 for details).
