Where Can You Buy Fireworks in Gwinnett County?
Residents can legally buy fireworks as of Wednesday and can set them off at any time between 10 a.m. and midnight on most days of the year.

Buford residents, along with the rest of Georgians, can now legally purchase fireworks without having to drive to another state.
House Bill 110, which was signed into law on May 5, mandated that the sale of fireworks in the state of Georgia would become legal as of Wednesday, just in time for the July 4th holiday. The bill also gives revelers until 2 a.m. on July 3 and 4, December 31, and January 1 to shoot off their fireworks. On all other days, the fireworks must be silenced by midnight.
Now that purchasing fireworks is legal, the state Office of Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner has set up a website where residents can find out the closest retail store which can legally sell fireworks. Fireworks sales are not allowed in temporary locations, like parking lot tents.
