3 Charged With Burglary, Theft After Car Stolen From Dealership
Three people have been arrested after a car was stolen from the Shottenkirk dealership last week in Canton.
CANTON, GA — Three people have been arrested for their part in the theft of a vehicle from the Shottenkirk dealership in Canton last week.
The suspects were taken into custody on Jan. 31 after a car chase by the Cumming Police Department with the assistance of the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office. At the time of the arrests, the suspects were found to be driving a different vehicle that was stolen.
Additional information from an investigation found that the driver and passengers were potentially involved in the recent vehicle theft in Canton. The three people that fled from the Cumming Police were Dexter Pearce, 32, Christopher Davidson, 32, and Ruby Stevenson, 23. All from Alabama.

All suspects were charged with felony burglary, felony theft of a motor vehicle, felony criminal damage second degree, and two counts of misdemeanor theft by taking. All three suspects are being held at the Forsyth County Jail.
"We are grateful to have such vigilant and persistent neighboring departments such as the Cumming Police Department and Forsyth Sheriff’s Office to help with the success in safely and effectively bringing these individuals into custody," Canton Chief of Police Stephen Merrifield said.
