Canton Family Asks For Help With Hospitalized 2-Year-Old

Blake is just two, but in his life he's already suffered a brain injury, and is now hospitalized with double pneumonia. Can you help?

CANTON, GA — A Canton family is going through a rough time, with their 2-year-old son in the hospital for a bacterial infection and double pneumonia. Blake Jones suffered a severe brain injury at birth, according to a GoFundMe page set up to help the Jones family through this challenging time.

Tabatha Jones, Blake's mother, said the boy got the flu which led to the pneumonia. She said he needs a miracle.

"The Jones family continues to work and care for their two older boys while their son is in the hospital, nearly an hour away. We are hoping to raise money to help with ongoing medical expenses, along with food and gas expenses for travel," the GoFundMe page says.

The Jones family has two other small boys, 9-year-old Frank and 5-year-old Connor, who miss seeing their brother every day, often crying, Tabatha said.

Frank Jones, Blake's father, is a retired U.S. Marine and continues to serve as a Cherokee County Sheriff's Deputy.
