Canton Farmers Market Opens Saturday At Reformation Brewery

CANTON, GA — The Canton Farmers Market promotes local farmers and artisans and will open for the 2019 season on Saturday. All produce is Georgia grown and mostly organic.

The 2019 season will kick-off on May 11 not in its typical spot of Cannon Park. Instead, the opener has been relocated indoors to Reformation Brewery for only the May 11 event, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

"Due to the anticipated inclement weather, the Farmers Market needs to be relocated and our friends at Reformation Brewery are giving us temporary shelter for tomorrow," the Farmers Market wrote on Facebook. "Come get your fresh produce, baked goods, hand-made gifts, plants and flower arrangements all in time for Mother's Day! Our vendors have prepped hard for this week's market and we cannot wait to see you all!"

Reformation Brewery is located at 141 Railroad Street, Suite 500, Canton. Use the entrance off of Waleska Street by Auto Zone.

The next event on May 18 will be back at Cannon Park in Downtown Canton and will run through Oct. 12. The market features cooking demonstrations, kid's activities and music, in addition to the more than 60 vendors.
